- Qualifications : Degree from a recognized University with Hindi and English as a main subjects. Two years experience in Translation.
- Desirable : Sound knowledge of sports and sports terminology.
- No. Of Post : 01 Posts.
- Age Limit : 25 Years.
- Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800/- Grade Pay Rs.4200/-.
Application Fee : Candidate will have to pay along with their application a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- by Demand Draft only in favour of “DIRECTOR, SPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA” payable at Gandhinagar-Gujarat. No fee is required to be paid by women candidates/SC/ST/Exservicemen/Physically challenged persons [they are exempted from payment of fee subject to the submission of photocopy of the prescribed Medical Certificate issued by a Govt. Hospital, duly signed by Chief Medical Officer]. Similarly, the candidates from SC/ST/Ex-servicemen categories should also enclose a photocopy of certificate issued by Competent Authority. In the absence of such proof and is no fee has been paid, the application will be rejected on the ground of “fee not paid”. No correspondence or proof sent later will be entertained.
How to Apply : Last date for receipt of application form complete in all aspects together with Demand Draft towards application fee is 31st December, 2012 till 6.00 p.m. Application forms, complete in all respect, with enclosure, should be sent in a closed cover with a superscription on the cover “Application for the post of ________ “ to the Director, Sports Authority of India, N. S. Western Centre, Sports Complex, Sector – 15, Gandhinagar – 382016, Gujarat. Application Form not in the prescribed format or incomplete/unsigned or received without the Demand Draft for application fee, wherever applicable, or Caste Certificate in case of of SC/ST/ OBS/PH applicants shall not be considered and are liable to be rejected.
